Luxé

Ecommerce App
Project Overview
A UI Design project where I created the complete brand and UI for an online store. Luxé is an inclusive ecommerce for all users. This provides a simple user experience for users who want to purchase new clothes and accessories. Users can search for items and read reviews to make sure they are buying the right product for them!

Problem
Finding a genderless shopping experience is hard to come by, especially with larger brands. It can be difficult for people who experience gender dysphoria to go into traditional stores and online shop, since clothes and accessories are often seperated by gender.
Solution
Luxé will create an inclusive and safe experience for users who want new clothing and accessories. Being able to find, purchase, and review products will make a welcoming experience that users will want to come back to.

Ideate the Product.

User Stories

As a customer, I want to see what other customers have said about products and how they have rated them, so I can better judge whether the item is right for me.

As a customer, I want there to be a variety of payment options, so that I can choose the payment method that suits me best.

As a customer, I want to be able to place multiple items in a shopping cart, so that I can purchase more than one item at a time.

Low Fidelity Wireframes

Sketched by hand wireframes with annotations.

Mid Fidelity Wireframes

Mid-Fi wireframes created in Sketch to create foundation, then used on InVision to create a prototype for user testing.

Testing a prototype

Using the prototype I created I asked for 4 users to test. I asked for a screen recorded video if the user was able and any notes they had while going through my scenario. After getting the feedback from my users I organized them into pain points and rated them from 0-4. With 0 being issues I didn’t see needed to be changed and 4 being changes that must happen.

Creating the UI

Final Wireframes

After fixing a few critiques from my user testing I moved onto creating the final UI for the project! Adding images and color allowed Luxé to really shine as a beautiful ecommerce app.
